I grew up listening to the Peter, Paul and Mommy, too album. Fond memories of loving every single song on that worn out album, but something about Poem for Erika/Song for Baby especially stood out for me. Many moons and songs later, I get it. It reflects the intangible love of a mother to her child. I was too young to understand it then, but I knew it was special and now I blessedly live it everyday.
